5 feet = 1.524 meters
8 inches = 0.2032 meters
Total height = 1.7272 meters

Once you have your weight in kilograms and your height in meters, you can calculate your BMI using the following formula:

BMI = weight (kg) / height^2 (m^2)

For example, if you weigh 70 kilograms and are 1.75 meters tall, your BMI would be:
